The examiners are trained and experienced and come to know whether your response to an essay is original or mugged up. If you have mugged up the answer from somewhere and it doesn’t look original, then you won’t get much marks. Hence write in your own words. Do not waste your IELTS exam preparation time learning essays by rote from books or online resources. Rather improve your English so that you can think well and express yourself clearly and correctly.
