You should keep speaking till you are asked to stop. The examiner will decide how long you should speak on a topic.
You may lie or make up stories. The examiner is not concerned with the actual truth. He or she is concerned with your English or a relevant response.
It is a two way communication between you and the examiner. Hence speak freely and comfortably.
