An English speaking friend wants to spend a two week holiday in your region and has written asking for information and advice. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
- Offer to find somewhere to stay
- Give advice about what to do
- Give information about what clothes to bring

Hope everything is fine at your end. My family and I are doing well. It is nice to know that you are planning to come to Ahmedabad for your holiday. I shall definitely give you lots of advice which will be very helpful.
Ahmedabad is a lovely place to see. You and your family will definitely enjoy yourselves here. There are many places worth visiting here.
Firstly for your vacation you could check with some hotels located in the old city area. They should be quite reasonable. I will ask the committee of the club where I am a member whether they have any spare rooms or manage one as this is summer vacation time and generally all rooms are occupied.
Do not bring too many clothes. Preferably bring cotton clothes as it is pretty hot here. They will be more comfortable in summer. Evenings are pretty pleasant and cool.
There are lots of places to see like the IIM, Shaking minarettes in the old city, a mosque, Science city, Akshardham in Gandhinagar and Escon temple. There are some nice food joints that offer traditional Gujarati food.
