Would is used to talk about habitual actions

I would wake up early.

I would call my friends.

I would fill balloons with coloured water.

We would throw balloons on each other.

We would play Holi till noon.

We would become very tired by then.

We would wake up early by 5 am.

We would go for a walk till 6 am.

We would then do exercises in the garden.

Then we would join the laughing club.

The children would be back by 2 pm.

They would have lunch.

They would then go to sleep for an hour.

At 4 pm they would sit down to study for an hour.

After that they would go off to play.
